NC 12 on Ocracoke Island will officially re-open

NC 12 on Ocracoke Island will officially re-open to all traffic on Wednesday, March 5 at 5 p.m. according to the NC DOT Resident Engineers office in Elizabeth City, NC (252-331-4860). Aside from an occasional lane closure for paving along the stretch from the ferry docks to Ocracoke village, no delays are expected.
